Michael is currently the Centre-spread Composition Editor, a regular contributor, and reviewer for The Recorder Magazine

He has also written a well-received series of articles on conducting fretted string orchestras for the BMG Federation Magazine, and been a concert reviewer for the British Society of Eighteenth Century Studies.
